Build Your Own "Mummers Play" Dragon

Want to have an extra flair this year to your rig up? Well now is your chance! Create your own costume to dress up as the dragon right from the Mummers Play! A traditional ‘Mummers Dragon’ was a cloth prop that the heroes would fight, for functional purposes, we changed the costume slightly so it can be worn during the Parade, or so you can use it when you go out Mummering with family and friends!

Workshops are free. Donations are gratefully accepted.

There must be one supervising adult for each child under 16 years of age.

Parking For Victoria Park Poolhouse:

The main parking lot for Victoria Park is located off of Sudbury Street, just north of the D.F. Barnes parking lot. You can access Sudbury street from either Water Street or Hamilton Avenue.

Once you park, walk the pak trail heading east and down the hill, cross in front of the playground, and to the Poolhouse. It's the only building in  Victoria Park!

You can also park on Water Street, walk up Alexander Street, turn right onto Angel Place and walk to the end of the cul de sac; the building is located up a path to to the right side of the park entrance.
