Mummer Lantern Workshops

The Victoria Park Lantern Festival has been a good friend and partner of the Mummers Festival for several years.


For 2023, we have teamed up to present two lantern-making workshops again with a mummering theme! Join Jeremy, Lori Lynn Earle, and the Lantern Festival team again in 2023, as they teach us their techniques to create your own beautiful and colourful mummer-themed lantern.


Free workshops; donations are gratefully accepted.


Suitable for kids aged 10 and up; adult supervision is required for each child.

Due to space and supply limitations, we are unable to accomodate large groups, such as Guides, Scouts, and Pathfinders.

​

Registration is required.

Parking For Victoria Park Poolhouse:

The main parking lot for Victoria Park is located off of Sudbury Street, just north of the D.F. Barnes parking lot. You can access Sudbury street from either Water Street or Hamilton Avenue.

Once you park, walk the pak trail heading east and down the hill, cross in front of the playground, and to the Poolhouse. It's the only building in  Victoria Park!

You can also park on Water Street, walk up Alexander Street, turn right onto Angel Place and walk to the end of the cul de sac; the building is located up a path to to the right side of the park entrance.
