Cookies, Goodies or Whatever You've Got!

Everyone knows that mummering means lots of fun and foolishness...and FOOD!

Join us at the Torbay History House and Museum as we explore some traditional Christmas foods that mummers enjoyed as they roamed from house to house.

Pastry Chef Donna Norvey will demonstrate how to make a traditional Christmas cake, steamed puddings and other goodies.

Enjoy the sweets with a cup of tea, and listen to Museum Manager Noah Morritt as he talks about Christmas culinary heritage. He'll also regale us with some tales about the extraordinary mummer artifact collection of Dr. Paul Smith that's currently on display.

And you never know, there might be a tune

or two as well!

Sure to be a wonderful afternoon.
